A word from Sharon

Eating fresh local food in season is the thing to do, you get to try ingredients at their best, so make the most of August’s incredible array of produce. Long sunny days and warm evenings why not eat your meals al fresco on our sun terrace! Start with delicate skewered scallops, grilled chicken kebabs, homemade burgers topped with sweet chutneys, plump pigeon with juicy apricot & grilled garlicky halloumi. Don’t forget that roast lamb is still at its best cooked with garlic & rosemary. Succulent peaches make delicious tarts & cheesecakes not forgetting Eynsford mess with homemade meringues & seasonal berries, eat them before their gone!  Below are just a few of the delicious dishes we will be preparing for you this month, this is only a sample menu as dishes change on a daily basis
